Teaching is Entertaining

This new course, run by David Fisher, director of The Bear Educational Theatre in Prague, will give participants multiple opportunities to explore their creative side.

They will learn new drama techniques and get to practise them in a supportive environment. They will join an educational theatre team and become involved in helping to stage a show.

The fact is that the world of teaching has a lot in common with the world of entertainment. Teachers have a lot of skills that entertainers also use and, more importantly, entertainers have a lot of skills that teachers can learn and use to make their lessons more engaging and interesting.

Learning entertainment skills gives teachers a great tool for dealing with key issues like student motivation and classroom management.

During the course, participants will …….

·  Visit the sea and different beautiful and historic locations

·  Use creative techniques to reflect on their experiences.

·  Become more comfortable with drama and the 'language’ of theatre.

·  Learn practical activities that they can use in the classroom.

·  Learn principles of entertainment that they can apply to their regular work.

·  Have a truly memorable, creative experience.

The course will be 6th - 13th July 2025 here in Barnstaple, Devon at a cost of £575.
